FCA Welcomes New Board Member and Thankful for Service of Another
Dec 14, 2022
Full Circle Ag hosted the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 6, at the Britton Area Event Center. The FCA Board of Directors was present. Highlights from 2022 and future plans for 2023 were discussed, along with the annual report. The election results include incumbents Miles Mendel and Jeff Mills, as well as the addition of David Rasmussen.
Full Circle Ag would like to thank retiring board member Roger Bopp, who served over 30 years of board service. We sincerely appreciate Mr. Bopp’s desire to contribute to the Full Circle Ag community through his years and thank him for all he has done for the co-op.
David Rasmussen was nominated and elected to serve a 3-year term, beginning in January. Rasmussen is from the Havana area and has been farming for over 13 years. “I am looking forward to learning more about how the co-op system runs.” Rasmussen comments. He is married with three children that keep him busy. He also likes to golf, hunt, and exercise in his spare time. The board of directors is fortunate to have David on the team and looks forward to the future.
This is an exciting time for Full Circle Ag as we navigate multiple projects within the company, including rebuilding our Pierpont location as well as several updates to our Groton fertilizer facility and fleet units across the company. The board of directors plays a critical and active role in making decisions that profoundly impact the cooperative's future, as well as the shared priorities of the agriculture economy in our communities.
