"All Gave Some. Some Gave All."
Apr 05, 2019
What is better than a project that will stand as a lasting symbol of our community's honor and recognition of all area veterans? Knowing that we were able to help support it.
Our latest Grain for Goodness contribution goes to Langford's American Legion, Henry Osness Post 141, for their granite veterans' memorials at the Langford and Falnes Cemetaries. It is envisioned that the cemetaries will have a retractable flagpole with a centralized large granite stone bearing the inscription, "All gave some, some gave all." Surrounding the flagpole will be four statuettes representing the branches of our United States Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines) and will be illuminated with solar lighting.
Grower, Veteran, and Member-Owner, Gene Larson, participated in our Grain for Goodness program through our Britton location. Gene's donation was matched by Full Circle Ag, as well as the Land O'Lakes Member Match Program, where they match the donations of their member cooperatives. With the common goal of enhancing the quality of life in our local communities, we are proud to support such a meaningful project to honor our veterans.
